Ofsted

The school has had three visits from Ofsted since it opened in September 2006. To download a copy of the reports from these three visits please click on the link below.

Valley View Community Primary School Ofsted Report

The last Ofsted inspection was on the 19th January 2016. Here are a few comments from the inspectors from their last visit…

“The leadership team has maintained the good quality of education in the school since the last inspection.”

“Leaders and governors embrace the new challenges the changes have brought.”

“Reading standards have continued to improve throughout the school and reading is a strength.”

“In the classroom, pupils show a mature attitude and their behaviours for learning are exemplary.”

“Pupils develop a love of reading and acquire the skills needed for future learning and enjoyment.”

“Pupil behaviour and welfare were major strengths during the last inspection and remain so.”

We are immensely proud of the Ofsted report. The school performed well in all sections and the inspection team have credited the huge amount of work which has taken place over the last few years to bring the school to this point. The schools overall effectiveness was declared ‘Good’. We believe that the Ofsted have recognised what we already knew – that we are a Good School!
